Straße – High German
Meaning/Colloquial term for street; in or outside a settlement.
Inspired by Alpine summers and al fresco dining of continental Europe, we’ve developed Albert’s Straße – an 100 cover, partially heated outdoor terrace in the heart of Manchester city centre.
Open daily from 12pm ’til late we’re offering an al fresco experience, with a summer-inspired drinks menu, biers and Alpine Cook Haus delights.
For drinks we’ll have all our favourite tap biers including Pilsner Urquell and our very own Manchester Rein, highballs, spritz & Sommer cocktails including Apple & Blackberry highball and Limincello & Kiwi spritz (both of which are included in our new ‘Gulden Hour’ offering from 4-7pm Monday-Friday. Also included in the offer are pints of Kozel for £4, bottles of prosecco for £20 and a selection of spritz & highballs for £5.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, some of Manchester’s finest DJ’s will be on the Straße decks, including Jonjo Williams, Hattie Pearson and Will Tramp.
From Sunday 25th April we will see the return of our favourite day of the week, Sunday Service, with a selection of Sunday roasts available throughout the day and Will Tramp DJ’ing throughout the afternoon, keeping your weekend hanging on as long as possible!
Drinks bookings are available all day from 12-9:45pm and food bookings available from 12-9:15pm however we do keep tables for walk-ins so if you’d rather pop down and see us please feel free to do so!
Schloss Straße bookings are open until Sunday 16th May – after this date, outdoor tables will operate on a first-come first-served basis.
Keep your eyes peeled for things to come from Albert’s Schloss this summer including a brand new Alpine inspired Spring/Summer food menu, new Sunday lunch serve and our best entertainment line-up yet ready for our reopening in May… Golden Days are coming.
We’ll see you on the Straße!
