Since we set out our little stall a few years ago on Peter Street, there has always been one weekend that we especially look forward to in particular and that my darlings is August Pride.
Those that have visited our delightful den of debauchery and decadence will know that we need absolutely no excuse whatsoever to get the glitter and glam rags out any day of the week, but seen as we are on the parade route it seems a damn shame not to celebrate our beautiful Mancunian LGBTQ community.
Every year we call our queers and queens, dress up, roll out the rainbow carpet, Pull up a damn groove and get f**cking fabulous like any other sensible level minded Mancunian does. WE LOVE BEING ON THE PARADE ROUTE :).
This city’s huge contribution and forward-thinking attitude to the LGBTQ movement cannot be underestimated both politically, socially, and culturally and we will be flying the flag big time. Here’s a lowdown of what we have on…..
FRIDAY – GIRLS ON FILM
SATURDAY – LA DISCOTHEQUE X IBIZA ROCKS
SUNDAY – SPANK HOLIDAY
Homoelectric resident, Will Tramp, will be spinning records on Spank Holiday Sunday alongside High Tea with the Queens, DJ Paulette and a colourful array of live Dance and Haus classics from Dominic Lawson (Feel Good Choir).
Bring your queens to the celebration – you’ve never seen so much Pride in Manchester.
WILL TRAMP PRESENTS THE PRIDE PARTY PALACE POWER PUMPERS MIX
A compendium of aural based treats to get you suitably lubricated for the forthcoming pride celebrations in Manchester.
Featuring hits from the world of musical theatre…….Nah not really, It’s chocked full of disco diva vocals, sleazy garage bubblers, tops off piano house and razor-sharp, rare rave anthems to cajole you on to the dance floor.
Pull up a groove and get fabulous.
